God’s Love from Dawn to Dark

- A Haiku Sequence -

Birdsong punctuates
the dawning of each day with
Resurrection Hope!
Sun drops pirouette
on gently flowing water…
and God’s Love sparkles!
All of creation
is a bountiful blessing
from a smiling God.
Last streak of sunset:
Hush…as daylight meets darkness,
nightfall tiptoes in.
This day’s work is done.
Good and faithful servant, sleep
in the arms of God.
