
SCIC LEADERSHIP TEAM —
The new leadership team for the Sisters of Charity of the Immaculate
Conception was missioned during a July 13 ritual at St. Vincent’s
motherhouse in Saint John, NB. The SCIC served in Saskatchewan from
1906 to 2007. From left: Sister Anita Holmes of Vancouver; Sisters Roma
De Robertis and Mary Beth McCurdy of Saint John and Sister Alice Keegan
of Vancouver. McCurdy was elected congregational leader, while the other
three women are leadership team members for the next four years. Their
election came during the SCIC chapter meeting held July 6 - 13 in Rothesay,
NB. Both McCurdy and De Robertis served in Edmonton. McCurdy also served
in Vancouver and Winnipeg, while Holmes served in Prince Albert and
De Robertis served in Saskatoon where for a number of years she was
also diocesan editor for the Prairie Messenger. (SCIC photo)
