ARCHBISHOP’S BARBECUE — It isn’t often that priests can get together with other priests to enjoy a few beers or a glass of wine and just socialize. Regina Archbishop Daniel Bohan provides that opportunity each year with an invitation to all priests, deacons and seminarians in the archdiocese to come for a barbecue at his Regina residence. The barbecue is traditionally catered by Resurrection Council of the Knights of Columbus. The priests, some of them almost unrecognizable in summer clothes, sunglasses and some wearing large hats to protect from the sun, took the opportunity to sit back, enjoy the day and catch up with their brother priests, some of whom they may not have seen since last year’s barbecue.
