CITY MARATHON — Rev.
John Weckend of St. Cecilia’s Parish, Regina, completed the half
marathon at the Sept. 9 Queen City Marathon in a little over two hours.
He was running again to raise money for Visitation House, a drop-in centre
for inner city women in Regina. Theresa Hilbig, director of Visitation
house, said Weckend’s
participation in the QCM over the past few years has raised about $12,000
each year and this year, because returns coming in so far are ahead of
