GOOD FOOD JUNCTION — Saskatoon Bishop Donald Bolen is welcomed to the recently opened Good Food Junction by the manager, Ralph Winterhalt. Christian churches and faith communities are among supporters of the Good Food Junction project, built as part of the Station 20 West community enterprise centre in Saskatoon's core neighbourhood. Those working to establish the Good Food Junction — including CHEP Good Food Inc. — point out the importance of having a full-service grocery to help ensure food security for area residents. Fundraising continues to help offset start up costs for the co-operative grocery store, which sells memberships for $5 each. (Yaworski photo) |
