Additional clergy moves announced by Regina archdiocese

REGINA — Regina’s Polish Parish, St. Anthony’s, has a new priest. Rev. Stansilaw Poszwa, Sch, was appointed effective Aug. 25, replacing Rev. Marian Okorek, Sch, who recently retired. Poszwa is a member of the Society of Christ, as was Okorek. His last posting was in Chicago.

Archbishop Daniel Bohan also announced Rev. Jose Periylkatte moves from St. Joseph, Oxbow, to become administrator for the parishes of Little Flower and Holy Cross in Regina. Rev. Yodel Cereno takes over in Oxbow and also becomes administrator for the Church of Our Lady, Carlyle, Sacred Heart, Kenosee, St. Raphael Cantal/Alida, St. Jude, Carnduff and the First Nations reserves of Ocean Man and Pheasant Rump.

Rev. Barry Anwender moves from Little Flower Parish to become associate pastor of St. Joseph, Moose Jaw, St. Mary, Central Butte and St. John the Evangelist, Marquis. These appointments are effective Oct. 1.

Newly ordained Deacon Mau Paul Nguyen Sept. 1 becomes assisting deacon at Holy Rosary Cathedral, Regina.

All appointments are for six years unless the good of the archdiocese requires otherwise.
