DIOCESAN PASTORAL COUNCIL — Prince Albert Bishop Albert Thévenot, M. Afr. met with parish representatives such as pastors, parish and finance councils, treasurers, secretaries and diocesan staff at St. Joseph Parish in Prince Albert Oct. 13. DPC members participated in fast-paced exercises and listened to Dave McQuaid, Battleford, about the importance of communication and working together within our parishes. The agenda also included an inspiring message from Thévenot, the diocesan finance report, update on the 2012 Bishop’s Annual Appeal, the 2013 Western Catholic Stewardship Conference, presentations by Scott Irwin and Sandra Kary (above) representing the Catholic Health Ministry of Saskatchewan (CHAS) and Lorel Trumier, director of Education for the Prince Albert Catholic School Division with a video presentation celebrating 125 years of Catholic education in Saskatchewan.
